( 2.7 / 6 )It's that time of year again were all of us Moms do the school shopping and send the kids off to school again. Us Moms here at Sara K Creations have over the past two weeks sent all are kids back to school, that is all but the little ones too small to be in school. Myself, for example have a 8 year old, a 7 year old, a 4 year old and a 4 month old. I'm exhausted after just typing that last sentence! Anyways, as Moms here at Sara K Creations we have spent the last two weeks adjusting to our new schedules....drop off kids, pick up kids, help with homework and of course around all this us Moms are proudly working together and helping each other out.
I for one, am very happy to be able to have a job were I can take care of my kids while working, I feel very blessed.

( 2.6 / 10 )Historically, the baby shower was hosted by someone outside of the family (friend, co-worker, symbolic Aunt). Today, anyone other than the Mommy-To-Be and her mom can throw a baby shower for the expecting Mom. It is most common for the Best Friend, Aunt, or sister to throw the Mommy-To-Be the baby shower! It is becoming more common for co-workers, cousins, groups of friends, or church/temple friends to throw the shower and much appreciated!
But really, an expecting mom is greatful for anyone who's thoughtful enough to throw her a shower. No Mom wants to feel forgotten. And I know I would feel just that, forgotten, if I was expecting and nobody even sugested the idea to me, well, my feelings would be hurt.
Pregnany is something to celebrate! And any expecting Mom is working hard at being an expecting Mom. So, if you know someone who's expecting, friend or family, maybe take a moment to ask them if anyone is throwing them a baby shower. And if no one is, do the kind jester of offering to do so. I mean hey, it's a great reason for a bunch of Moms, friends and family to get together!
